I don't want them to stop talking about economics ENTIRELY at all, I'm just pointing out I think the priorities of ecological destruction and minority scapegoating supersede that---if there's no planet to live on, who cares about economics---and their decision to dismiss "identarian" issues in favor of promulgating more left-wing economic analysis is short-sighted and telling why they dismiss trans rights messaging. We did that with Bernie and it failed, twice. Occupy crashed and burned. There's obviously a good amount of popularity in that message, but where are the results? It's just the branding of TYT to talk about economics, so they peddle that (which is fine), but refusing to adapt and showing their reactionary colors is fair game for criticism.

Speaking of, I doubt the centre-left will take any hint from real leftists, given their economic position and status in media, politics, culture, etc. Why would you listen to revolutionary economic ideas when that's threatening to the liberal lifestyle?

Just my two cents, it's fine to disagree
