If anything, AI will be invaluable in helping mitigate and adapt to global warming. I feel like if it becomes self-aware and starts acting in terrorist rogue mode with a mandate to say, save life in earth, it will start eliminating fossil fuel executives and the elites that are continuing business as usual instead of humanity writ large, if it’s analyzing all the data correctly where the problem mostly is. Perhaps this why the billionaires and feudal tech lords and their sycophantic academic shills are afraid of it more than global warming.
